alright boys-here is the issue. My three year old Cabella breathables are leaking at the seam where the boot top ends. What is the best way to repair them?? I'm thinking flex seal tape and then spraying the tape edges with flex seal spray but the internet says no and suggests everything from Aqua seal to black 5200. Let's brainstorm this. Monday is gonna be C-O-L-D with a pair of leaky waders

I would recommend Shoe Goo. It is my go to rubber repair stuff. I had a high dollar pair of insulated Muck Boots that leaked after a couple of years and I sealed 'em up with Shoe Goo. Five years later still going strong.

Available at Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon, and probably your local hardware store.

A "Seam leak" is death to a pair of boots.

Go to Scheels and get a pair with a 10 year warrenty or Cabela's.

Rubber, fiber or foam will depend on needs and cost.
Rubber for trout and foam for Ducks, is my advise.

I don't like the put them on and add a walking boot, system.

We did the bread bag inside our buckle boots after they blew out.
I didn't know folks down South actually used waders for their intended purpose.
Edit to add: Down at the bottom of the thread, "Similar Threads" has some ideas. I believe C. Lawyer actually chimed in on one...
