Wrap the pistol in 2 layers of wax paper and insert into the holster - let set overnight.

If additional "looseness" is required, use additional layer the next day.

Works every-time.

I tried the wax paper, but only for one night and only one layer. It seems the mag. release and safety are rubbing the holster, there are marks that align with their position.

The slide release will always rub. That area should create a channel within the holster after a bit.

You say your safety/decocker is not clearing?

The sweat guard should be the only thing in the way.

Possible to post pictures?

After two weeks, doubling the wax paper and shaving the leather where the mag. release and safety rub, the holster is breaking in. Thanks very much.

I know it's an old thread but what I did was use a dress sock and do the same thing . Slides pretty easy

Our Forum member, Lobo, is a custom holster maker and with his holsters he advised to use a heavy plastic bag, wrap the gun and put in the holster for a day to loosen up, and it does work.

I asked this same question a month ago. I didn't do anything as someone said it will wear in with some time. Mine wore in fine after two weeks of pulling the gun out and putting it back in once or twice a day.
