Lee Loader Hammer

What is the best weight of hammer for the Lee Loaders? I am looking at the Grace hammers with the Delrin head on one side. Is the 8 oz. enough or would the 16 oz. be better?

When I used a Lee Ihad a 10/12 ounce brass hammer that I used on gun work..It worked fine...you should be ok with rhe one you are considering....Remember....SAFETY GLASSES!!

I would recommend a wood mallet (hornbeam wood) or a rawhide mallet.
You’re not trying to beat the daylights out of the tool or your brass.
