According to the text you have to register your AW no more than 90 days after the ban took effect, then you can sell it or transfer to the new owner that needs to register too. I'M NOT GOING TO REGISTER MY FIREARMS, PERIOD!!!

I don't want to register my guns but does it matter?

About 25 years ago I bought a revolver new, shortly there after I sold it in a parking lot with no official record. Then a couple of years ago I get a call from a detective in another state asking about the gun because it was the murder weapon of a case he was working. I told him I barely remembered the gun and had no record of its sale. That was it.

Obviously the ATF knows about the silencer I own. And how hard is it to get the CMP records of the 4 rifles I've purchased there? I don't have many "off paper" guns anyway.

So what's the big deal about registering them? They are either going to outlaw them or not. At that point it comes down to if you are going to comply or not. I say if it's time to hide them it's time to use them, or alternately comply. Just the way I see it.
