LEO freebies

Showing appreciation to those in (any) uniform who serve the general population? I have no problem with that.
 
I am fortunate engough to be retired from 34 years of LE.
I have three retirements, two LE and 100% disability from the VA. I haven't even gotten to Social Security yet.

One of the best things I get to do is when I'm eating out and see a LEO with his family or a young military troop and his family eating out, I call the server that is helping them, I pay for their meals and I ask them to give them this card:

"Thank you for standing to the ramparts so that my Children and Grandchildren can be in a safer word and sleep safely in their beds at night..........God be with you on the street".

I have found that too many folks that LEOs and the Military protect don't appreciate their sacrifice or are envious, jealous and bitter about them.
