Just recently my son sold his DETROIT PD marked M&P .40 for $350. It had 3 mags, palm strips, box, papers, etc. He had to move one out of the stable due to his new Gen 4 G17 purchase.
When I started looking around on the interweb for what they were selling for, I noticed that the LEO Glock G22 & 23 was getting a much better asking price for them, if you could find one that was not sold. My son sold his at a price anywhere from $50-$100 more than what the M&P's online asking price was.
Well, I just recently came into a few extra $$$ and was interested in getting a Glock 23. The lowest priced ones I can find start out at $400, and they don't even have night sights like the M&P does. You're probably thinking,"Why didn't you buy your sons M&P?" I could have, but, I just want a Glock.
My Q? is, why are the LEO Glock .40's getting a much better price than the LEO M&P's? The M&P's are being sold with everything I described that was with my sons M&P, and the Glocks are only being sold with 1, maybe 2, magazines, and no box! I just don't understand how the word "GLOCK" can demand so much more money. SMH!
