I never met him or talked to him by phone. Reading his Sabbath ramblings and other posts, he seemed so much a friend. Rest in Peace Leon, Prayers for your Family and Friends.
I never met Leon face to face, but I surely knew him. His posts were like a shining star here. Leon loved life and the people in it. He was truly a gentleman and an inspiration. Leon's music is playing in Heaven today.
Thanks for posting this sad news, Kenna. And I'd like to thank Rusty for the info a short time back for the posting of his condition. That helped soften the blow by letting us know how/why he passed. It doesn't make the final news any easier, but we at least have an explanation.
R.I.P., "Ole Joe Clark"
I will miss Ole Leon and his Sabbath Day Ramblings.
My best wishes and condolences go to his family and close friends. I am confident that he is in good hands with God now.
Sorry to hear about the passing of Leon. One of those special Good Ole Boys that truly will be missed here. When he warned it might be a while until he posts again, I didn't think it would be never again ... too permanent for sure.
The Good Lord will welcome you with open arms Leon.... RIP
May the Lord bless the whole family. I will definitely miss Leon's posts. I looked forward to this Sunday forum, as he always lifted me up, even when I did not know it was needed. He will be missed by many.
