SASABERANGER... RIP.

RIP Thom, thanks for the informative posts. So many sharp wits and firearm experts have left us. To mention any would be to leave off too many. Please save us a place, gentlemen.

Blows me away. I had a transaction with him a few days ago at the Andalusia, Alabama Gun Show. Super nice guy. He will be missed. My prayers to his wife Debbie and the rest of his family.

Thom was for me, One of the first members that I followed on our forum. I had dealings w him and he was a pleasure to chat with. It's with heavy heart
that I send my condolences and prayer for his family and close friends. It seems we lose too many members so often this days. Thom will be very missed. Sleep in Peace..Grace for his Family..

Somehow this horrible news has escaped me until Debbie sent me an email this morning. I am heartbroken ! Back in 2007, I met Thom and Debbie at a show near Cheyenne. From that moment, they made me part of their "group". I was going through a divorce at that time. Being invited to meet with other Forum members for breakfasts and lunches was a real morale booster. I spent many great days with Thom and Debbie at shows (and restaurants) over the following years. If you sat for a day at a show with Thom and Debbie you saw how much other "regulars" just loved them ! Thom was my kind of guy. He could "dish it out", and appreciated a good return in kind. I remember walking into a show to sit down with him for a day. I strode up wearing my big 'ol Tom Mix Stetson. Thom says "What the $#@!$ are you doing Driskill" ? .... "What do you mean" ? says I....... "You can NOT wear a hat like that with TENNIS SHOES " !! Well .. of course Thom was right, and I never did again. Those shows and meals together were golden times of great fun. As I know many MANY others do ..... I feel privileged for Thom to have included me among his friends. This really HURTS !
