Lets Do a S&W 22 LR Thread (revolvers only)

Me too riptrack44 except I could only afford to buy a sears single shot back then. I could only dream of having a 63, 62 or 61, or 1890 '03, a'06 or a K-22 for that matter. I can get them now but its a b...h to find the time and a place to shoot them.

Mine is a shooter, nothing more and nothing less. Otherwise I'd put the original grips back on.

But as a shooter it can play with the best!

Your 34 sure is purdy! Is that a Smith engraving?

Yup - factory engraved. Once upon a time, I worked in a friends gunshop. One of the distibutors he used (Jovino, I think) had a huge stockpile of engraved S&W's. It seems Jovino HAD to buy x number of them to stay in S&W's good graces. They ran a special to move them out, and the shop picked up around 8-10 of them. One was a 29, there were a few 36's & 60's - and this one.

The grips are Sanbar stag from Eagle Grips. The knife is one my own with real ivory. They make a nice combo.

Take care,
Bob S.

I dug out a pic of my M-18 for another thread, so I figure I will post a pic of it here as well:
