We had a thread on the subject within the last year. As I recall, the conclusion we arrived at was its the way they were marked. My two are in the 673-674,000s range and the white tape is illegible on both. I've got an extra HBH from Lee. Don't know what I'll do with it.

I've also got an M&P Target with a HBH, but of course it has a firing pin in the hammer.

I actually have two of each, the 4" and 6". One set I keep NIB, the other pair are shooters. In 1991 Smith produced 200 of the 4", and 116 of the 6" for Ashand Shooting Supplies. They're getting very difficult to find.
S.B. posted a pic. of another 6" on page 4 of this thread. It motivated me to post pictures of mine (again).
