LETS SEE THOSE 28'S

is there anything that holds the hand from flopping back towards the back of the gun when pointed muzzle up, if pointed down the hand works the cylinder and makes it turn but if i point it up it doesn't turn the cylinder. HELP
Yes, there is a spring on the trigger that keeps the hand forward and under tension. If you have removed the hand and replaced it, you did not get the leg of the spring installed on the pin on the hand.
 
My 4" with Grashorn Elk antler grips. It was originally a 6" gun.

I will be getting a barrel from Dave Chicoine next month that was a 6", and I had him shorten it to 5" and install a red ramp on it. Can't wait to get it so I can install it on my other Model 28-2. I removed the 6" barrel from the frame a couple of months ago in eager anticipation.:D I think the 5" barrel will be very nice.
