Let’s See those Hammerless Smiths.

My 640-1 .357 Magnum. The first gun I ever purchased.
Bought it new in 2008 from my brother to use as my EDC.

And my 640-2 .38 Special +P.
This has been my EDC ever since my brother gave it to me back in 2014.
This was his back-up while he was in LE. He bought a new one when he retired and gave me this one.

A 642ND w/early Eagle Secret Service boot grips in rosewood and a 642-1 with cocobolo Spegel boot grips.

I've done a little grip-swapping since this photo was taken. The 642ND is currently wearing the Spegel boot grips and the 642-1 is currently wearing a set of PGS Hideout grips. The Eagle Secret Service grips are currently in my accessories box.

I've got a few.....

Here's my oldest, shipped July 1887:

Here's a few made over a hundred years later, my most EDC is the 340PD...top right:

Many folks are unaware that James Bond was issued the Cenntenniel Airweight at the same time as the famous Walther PPK....here's mine with the text of the original Ian Fleming story behind it....

^^^^^^^^ You know, that is one of those guns that make me think, if I could only have one gun, what would it be? (Doesn't look like either of us is going to have to worry about making that choice). Well, that one could fill the bill!! Useful, beautiful, elegant, compact, safe, adequate caliber, classic....wow.

Thanks for sharing!!

Best Regards, Les

I have quite a few Smith and Wesson Centennials in the training inventory. Most of them are in this picture

I do personally carry Smith and Wesson Centennials, these days it is usually a Model 340. I think the Centennials are the best choice for a pocket or purse gun. Usually if I have an ankle or belt holster I will carry a J-Magnum that has a hammer.

In the last couple of years I have been playing with carrying a NY reload and 2 of my Performance Center 940 Specials have filled that role

ny-reload1s.jpg

This holster allows me to draw a single firearm in the traditional manner or a cross draw. It is even possible to draw both simultaneously

Yes I do practice week hand shooting on a regular basis

Please tell me you New York-Reload Carry in that holster! Because if you do that is inspiring! I NY Reload Carry myself but one in the front right pocket and the other @ 4:30 on the beltline!

Do these count? Top to bottom:

1994 Massachusetts police agency issued Model 4053 "1053" 10mm by Bill Weir (BMCM)

Model 296Ti

1957 pre-model 38

1990 Model 64 NY-1

Still looking for a period correct brushed aluminum Tgrip for the NY-1

That is exactly what I do

I was even thinking about letting Bell Charter Oak make one for a pair of auto loaders.

Perhaps a pair of CS10s or 1013/1014s
