I have posted this pic before but it's time to share it again! Nothing new since the last outing!

I've got a few.....

Here's my oldest, shipped July 1887:

Here's a few made over a hundred years later, my most EDC is the 340PD...top right:

Many folks are unaware that James Bond was issued the Cenntenniel Airweight at the same time as the famous Walther PPK....here's mine with the text of the original Ian Fleming story behind it....

Here's my "pre Centennial" from 1953:

With elk antler stocks and a Tyler T Grip, my 640 Pro Series is now my "Semi Barbeque" gun

Best Regards, Les

That Centennial AirWeight is just awesome! I never knew James Bond carried an M36 concomitantly with a PPK... Speaking on the subject of "concomitant" can one run the back grip insert you have there with a Tyler-T grip at the same time? I have big mitts and that could allow me to get an even better grip with my 3 "J's"... and if that back grip insert comes rubber coated then I know my wife will want one to run on her M642 Airweight with Tyler T...

HamHands,
That is not an insert.

The early "hammerless" guns and the Centennials, then models 40/42 that followed had grip safeties.

It was not until the introduction of the stainless Centennial (Model 640) and airweight Centennials (Models 442/642) that the grip safety went away

Here are my three: a New Departure in .32 S&W, a Centennial in .38 Special, and a police trade-in 640-1.

I've got more if y'all let "Owlheads" play.

I am the proud owner of two such revolvers, a 342PD and 640-1 Pro. The 342 is perfect for pocket carry.
