I am a dog fan, but love all animals

As far as canines are concerned, wifey and me are on our 3rd standard poodle.
#1 Bijou= the jewel. adopted at 10 years old, a beautiful black Royal and was there for the births of our three children.Died at age 13.
#2 Tazzio = famed Italian race car driver who assumed Bijou's role as family goofball and babysitter, died age 15.
#3 Cooper= Kids grown, no babys to look after:eek: only two old codgers..........I get alot o crap about my love of the standard poodle, some buds call 'em wussies....but they are a brave and hardy breed wicked smart, too smart sometimes. Anyway the object of our affection is "Coopa the poopa"

Hi
This is "Miss Dixie Stampede" she is a Registered Boston Bull Dog. Some People are not aware of it, But the True Early Boston Bull Dog's were large in size averaging 25-35 Pounds and were the Original Pit Bulls {See The Attached Link}. Through the Years they have been Bred down in size and are now called The Boston Terrier, of which mine isn't being a True Boston Bull Dog she will eventually get to be around 25-35 Pounds. They are a very Loyal trusty family pet and only Grow irratable when Teased. Her she is at 6 weeks old this Past Summer...Hammerdown

Hammerdown-
Where'd you find her? I'm familiar with the Boston Bulldog but have never found a breeder.

I like Chihuahuas. I've got 2 females. I don't get around that well and the little girls are satisfied with the house and little yard to roam. I've heard there's a lot of Chihuahuas in shelters in California. Most people don't know the breed.

My newest grandpuppy, Brody, a mutt. I think he's a beagle/doberman/lab mix. He has big paws so I think he will be big and it took him awhile to grow into his nose. He was a little funny looking at first (I didn't tell my daughter that).

My Rottweiler Maya, when she was about 9 months old. That was about 50lbs ago and 3-4 years ago. When I bought her she was advertised as being "The most loving family pet you will ever own that will also serve as the most vicious home security system available". They were right on both counts. What they did not tell me was that she would end up loving all creatures smaller than her and hating all animals larger than her. Especially the mail man.

This is Bard the dog. Interesting animal , he has three advance degrees and speaks four languages. Actually when he was a puppy he was thrown out of a car on an interstate in Las Vegas. My brother rescued him from a pound. He is fourteen years old now and spent most of his life in NYC. He now lives with me in upstate New York on the Vermont border. Kind of a fresh air program city kids.

Here she is..."Da Princess aka Princess poops a lot", on her throne in our campsite. I wonder why she likes to go camping so much? Now age five and retired for nearly two years from her career on the track she is definitely a 45 MPH coach potato. (o;

What a beautiful girl!!
We're on our 4th and 5th Greyhounds...it's been said that Greyhounds don't have owners, they have staff ;)..
I find that saying to be ever so true :)

Remember, "THERE'S ONLY ONE SMARTEST DOG IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND EVERY LITTLE BOY OWNS HIM".
I saw this years ago and never forgot it.

The other thing I remember is "Never trust a man that hates a dog".
There is alot of truth to that.
