I know it's outta this forums relm but I'm REALLY jonesin' for a 686+ 2.5" with a set of smooth Ahrends. Tho there's a 19 on Auction arms that's nickel and really should follow me home.

Imashooter, that looks like a smooth target trigger on your CDC 64-4. I wonder if that was something that the California Department of Corrections special ordered from Smith? My 64-2 has a grooved combat trigger and I'd always thought that these were standard with the gun.

Love the K frame snubbies... Here are three of my 66-1s...:)

This is my contribution. Model 19-5. This was an old police gun that was beat beyond all recognition. I think that the officer must have carried it in the shower with him and used it as a hammer around the house. But as is the case with most of these guns it was tight so I took a chance on it. I sent it back to the factory and this is what they sent me back. I think they switched it with another gun! The only defect is a bit of pitting on one side of the barrell. It's so slight that I couldn't photograph it. I only wish that I had taken a before photo because you can't believe what they did with this gun.

These are fantastic. I guess that my two simply won't be enough! Mercman, those are beautiful grips on that 66-3. Are they factory?

Sorry to have taken so long to reply, I've been away from home for a few days.
The grips are not factory, I got them from my Brother in Law who got them off Ebay.

OK...so is the 3" a snubby? It is to me so I included it! I hope post 1980 guns are welcome in this thread!:D

Waiting patiently to add the 2 1/2" 19...still looking for the right one.

I always take a beatin' for the stocks but I carry them on occasion and shoot them too. If they were true safe queens I would give them fancy wood stocks. The Diamondback was thrown in for good measure.

Clockwise from the top: Colt Diamondback, Model 547, Model 64-3, Model 66-3, Model 66, Model 66-3, Model 65-3, and a Model 13-2.
