I think I prefer the versions by Henry. Their high-end SPD HUSH series with a carbon fiber wrapped stainless barrel retails for $2000, and their X Models (which I consider "semi-tactical") sell for under $1200. I just can't get behind a $7-10k price tag...

Not my cup of tea, but if that's what someone wants, more power to them. (Though I do think the price is absolutely idiotic!)

On the other hand...

I love lever guns and I enjoy the 'tacticoolness' of the ARs. But the two don't mix. It's like beer and chocolate. Or putting curb feelers and mud flaps on a Corvette. Yuck!!

Sorry, but you are just wrong. Beer and chocolate go together WONDERFULLY! No, not chocolate flavored beer, that would be awful. But a nice piece of dark chocolate washed down by a swallow of beer is a delicious combination!
