Anyone ever had their pinky finger turn the switch off on this grip during recoil? I read about this on the Internet. Have not been to the range with mine yet. Thx.

Never had it happen on mine.

In fact, the way the switch is recessed, I don't see how that could happen. On a couple of visits to the range, I tried to turn the switch off with my finger, next with my finger nail, then with a spent shell casing. I finally gave up.

Not saying it is impossible - under the right circumstances anything is possible.

I got some of these today. They seem pretty nice, not adding a lot of weight but adding a little size to the backstrap. They add a nice recoil pad right at the web of the hand, and the grips fill the space behind the trigger guard.

The only thing I didn't understand was, the instructions said to put both batteries in the right side battery holder. Is that correct? I put 1 battery in the right side and it works fine. Also, why is there a battery holder in the left side?

Never. Had one on my 640 Pro for a year now and been to the range a few times. I don't see how it would be possible.
