Lincoln MKS

I bought an '09 last year with 41k.

First year model, but that worked to my advantage because the price was RIGHT! They didn't have a big following and Lincoln's past fumbles made this possible.

How are they? Excellent, no other word for it.

Do they compete well in their bracket? Can't say but I doubt it.

What I do know is this is the best car I have ever owned. My wife had an '06 Avalon Ltd and this is in the same league.

Used '12, depreciation taken, price should be good and you will not be dissappointed.

My brother bought an '11 MKS with low miles and has been very pleased with it.

Been in the car business for 20 years. Buy and sell hundreds of cars a year. The Lincoln MKS is a very nice car, would make sure there is a Lincoln dealer around for service work if any.

Wouldn't a Ford dealer be able to handle most issues? Under the skin, it's pretty much the same as a Taurus. Anyways, a used Lincoln like the MKS is a good buy. Lincoln doesn't have the cache of the German brands so they depreciate more, but the quality/durability is there. Ford has been building some pretty good vehicles for a while now. This ain't the 80's anymore.

I had a 2008 Lincoln Mark LT that was super nice. Ford now sells it as the Platinum Edition F150. Looked at the MKS for my wife and gave it serious consideration. Looked like a solid SUV type whip to me.

Recently sold my 2010 Ford Oxford White Raptor for a 2014 Ford Race Red Raptor so obviously I land in the Ford/Lincoln camp...:)

Can't speak directly for the MKS but the wife has an Aviator that she loves. We have been a Ford family for decades with no complaints...my company buys all Ford/Lincoln as well and have good results. My current '02 F-150 has never given me any trouble. Friend at work has the MKS and is happy. Dad has an F-250 diesel and likes it better than the Dodge he had before.

I think Ford/Lincoln is currently the best domestic car brand and they didn't take any bailout $$.:) JMHO!

If its under factory warrantee the work has to be done at a Lincoln dealer.

I will take delivery on Friday. It is a 12, but still has lots of warranty. I was also in the car business for 20 years, but have been out for almost 7 and a lot of things have changed.
