Little colored light by the date

Ok, just noticed it. Sometimes it's yellow and sometimes it's blue. Is it a camera? Are "they" watching us?

There is a little blue spot next to the 'date/time' stamp(Today, 11:09 PM).
If you put your pointer on it, it will tell the age of the poster.

I have a iMac which has a built in camera, I can see them while they see me, we make all sorts of hand gestures at one another.
My favorite is the Italian salute.
