I purchased a used 6904 recently, and so far I am very happy with it, except for the the trigger pull. I don't have a gauge, but it's a lot more than the Sigs I am used to in DA mode. Even the SA is pretty stiff. I don't really want to spend the money on a trigger job. This isn't going to be a competion gun, I would just like to make it a little more enjoyable to shoot.
I looked on the Wolff site, and they list the stock hammer spring at 20 lbs. They have a spring pack, that has a 17, 18, and 19 lb spring in it. They also list trigger return springs in different weights. They list the factory trigger return spring at 4 lbs, and I was thinking of trying the 3 lb one.
Are these two springs what I need to be experimenting with to lighten up the trigger pull?
Also is there an instructional guide available that would help me with a detailed teardown of this gun?

Thanks

I use the 18# Wolff mainsprings in all 9 of my 3rd Gen's. No issues, and it does help lighten trigger pull greatly. No experience with the trigger return spring...haven't found the need...
