I have removed the lock "flag" from my M360 M&P. Which was quite easy. Now I would like to remove all of the lock "parts". Has anyone done this? Can you explain the procedure?

Any help is appreciated.

Rock Doc has pointed you in the right direction. As a satisified customer I can attest to the looks, efficiency, and desirability of the "PLUG". If you've ever learned to remove the side plate for cleaning and maintenance and didn't have a meltdown re-installing the parts ( hard to believe, but some seem to) then the PLUG installation is relatively easy, and as permanent or temporary as you wish it to be.

The Plug

I have looked at the thread..... Does the plug come with instructions for removing the rest of the lock parts?

As I stated , I've removed the flag already. Just not quite sure how to remove the external key hole , spring etc......

This is what I'm searching for, the "how to" for the rest.

If you examine the thread link closely, you will find another link in Bullseye's post that takes you to THIS Youtube video that should help you with what you're looking for.

Thanks, But.......

I've Watched it. The only thing he removes in the video is the flag, nothing else. I have done that.

How do you remove the key tumbler and spring assembly?

I used a dental pic to pry out the spring and rod and then, as I recall, cup/washer/whatever the crap they call that thing was easily removed. Not too many parts there but they're small and I draped a rag over the thing while I pried the spring loose, so I wouldn't have to go searching through the carpet with a flashlight or a magnet. When such takes off into orbit they can find some of the most interesting places to come to rest . . . .:(

I've only done a couple and it was a few months ago, but as I remember it it wasn't a big deal. My ham hands had more trouble getting the new plug keeper situated the first time, but the second went smoothly.
