Look what i got today

This is a pre model 27, it has a 6" barrel diamond magnas stocks ser# matches the gun and also the gold box has the same number. ser range is 163000 and i will be sending to get a letter real soon. this gun and box are damn near perfect. i'll be taking it to ohio next week to show some of my smith buddy who really know these guns. thanks for looking...

Just FYI, regarding your letter comment, it is my understanding that the factory has suspended new letter requests for the time being. YOu might want to save the postage for now.

i called smith&wesson about 5 min. ago, they told me that they are still doing letters, i going to put a post on the SWCA forum and see if any one has heard this. thanks

They are 700 letters behind right now and the price is going up to $50 per letter. They will return any incoming until Mr. Jinks gets caught up. Roy Jinks is taking some time off this summer also. Save your postage for now.
