I find the 357SIG a wonderful powerful cartridge... mine come in the modular Sig redheaded stepchild... the P250... in all 3 sizes... the subcompact is a flamethrower... and can make others at the range ask "what's that?"... I seldom carry in 357SIG mode, but would not feel wrong doing so... it is a very underrated and under appreciated cartridge. I hope you enjoy your new adventure.

Snubby, congrats on the new Glock! I actually shot my friends Glock (same model) in 357 Sig a few months ago. It was a nice gun, quite accurate, reliable and did have a little snap to it.

Right now might be the time to procure a bunch of spare ammo for it as it seems it has been on sale lately. Even Sig themselves recently ran a sale on their brand of ammo. While the 357 Sig is an excellent performer, popularity of said cartridge could start to wane as the USSS switched back to 9mm. Sometimes the cartridges are a bit hard to find in a LGS. You should also look at Target Sports USA's web sight. They usually have the best stock and lowest prices anywhere. They deliver right to your door step and when buying a sealed case, they eat the shipping. They are excellent to deal with!

The two gun shops I pass on the way to the gym both have .357 Sig in stock. After I finally get a chance to take it to the range and see how I like, I plan to stock up.

I'm really liking my new Glock 19. I ordered it from Bud's and just got it about three hours ago. Gen 5. Trigger is fairly heavy, but smooth, which is perfect in my opinion.

Came with three magazines.

I normally would already be shooting it, but I got very busy lately. Maybe get it out next week.

My two are the Sig P-226 & a H&K USP Compact, the latter of which I carry.
