Do I Need To Buy Another Gun? Update Post 35, I went and did it...

Snubby, last week I bought the same gun but mine is in 300 Blackout caliber and the brace is very thin and non adjustable. Your brace looks much better how do you like it, and how do you like the Holosun? I'm thinking of getting one of those also and definitely getting a can when I can pick out the right one.

This is my first experience with an AR, an AR pistol, an AR pistol arm brace and a red dot sight so I can't honestly give any opinion but for what I paid for them, I better like 'em. It's all new to me and really cool.

I won six boxes of .410 at a Friends of NRA banquet. Bought a Rossi snake charmer type shotgun. Still haven't used up the shells. Good excuse to go fishing in MS again.

Congrats!

What is the barrel length?

If I were you I'd buy a spring and detent kit. I bought a couple, and they have came in most handy!

From the first time I fired an M16, back in the '60s, or our
Colt ARs since then, I never liked the grip handle.
Lotsa options available today, that ease the bend in the wrist,
a bit, and might fit your hand perfectly.
Wonder what the velocity is in the 223/5.56 AR handguns?

Enjoy that blaster.

Long ago, a retired DEA Agent told me that it's illegal to fish with a gun. :D
His sense of humor when I asked about the 223/5.56 and 308 for Sharks getting close to swimmers near the boat.

Wayne, I have a large box full of extra AR parts. I thought you might need/want these.

Magpul rear backup sight.
Magpul curved trigger guard.
Magpul MOE grip with storage compartment.
Or a Houge grip that's rubber like their revolver grips.

You can get a Magpul front backup sight on Amazon for $25.

If you want them, PM me your address. Think of it as a welcome to the AR world gift.

Snubbyfan, that looks like it needs a single point sling and a trenchcoat to carry it under. Nice combo of accessories and parts. Get thicker ear plugs, or active sound suppression muffs. AR15's and M&P's, and others, are loud. Short barrel "pistols" are even louder.

Love it, and congrats!

Got a 2 point QD sling on order. Along with the necessary adapters and mounts to use it.
Being of American Indian descent, I could probably get away with wearing a capote to carry it under.

When I purchased mine a couple of weeks ago from PSA I paid about $15 extra for their elecropolished trigger upgrade. I don't know the pull weight but it is a nicer trigger than a stock AR, maybe 5lbs. I may improve the trigger but probably not, I don't want a really light trigger on that type of pistol. My gun is a 300 Blackout and I ordered a YHM Resonator K suppressor and will probably shoot mostly subsonic ammo so shouldn't need any hearing protection and I've heard the 300 Blackout is one of the best rounds out of suppressed firearms.
