And was wondering in good condition , say minimum 90%+ or better. Just the gun, no box.

Whats the real worth value on it? I cruised GB and see 400-800 in varying conditions.

I am looking at trading a $600-700 value gun for it even up. The 29-2 comes with some ammo ( not much , maybe 50 rounds ) , speed loader or two and a Shoulder holster.

I specifically will flip the gun and would like to try and cash out obviously atleast at the same value as my trade gun. Keep the ammo and speed loader for myself and give away the shoulder holster.

I have a 29-10 4" , if this was a 6" gun I would totally keep it. Its blued, just like my 4".

I don't need to make millions off it. But just want to make sure that if I do a trade, I am not going backwards.

The other gun might take a little while to get the price I want, but its super low serial #. Someone will want it and pay for it.

I am just wondering how fast this would sell , say at a price of $750 ? Is it worth $750 ? That is my real question.

As you can see from the pictures, its very nice. Atleast at minimum , bare minimum, 90%. I am thinking from the pictures alone, its probably closer to 95-98%. Second owner, first owner was a known person. Very little rounds through it. Less then 100 total.

So what say you ?

Based solely on your description of a "super low serial number" for a 29-2, I would guess the grips are probably not original, in my limited experience.

There are those who love the long tubes and yours is in good shape, but with no box , tools, presentation case, etc., I'm inclined to think $750 is a bit more by at least $75 to $100 than I would personally pay and I'd have to really want an 8 & 3/8 29-2. I see a lot of them listed on GB, but few sold at the premium prices asked.

But I also know that if you're patient, sooner or later a deal will come along that you feel is equitable.

Currently, trading a gun with an 'equivalent' value with the intent of 'quickly flipping it' and making some money is pretty dicey. If the gun you already have, that you are thinking of trading, is saleable at all, in the price range you think, then selling THAT is likely the best transaction. Factor in shipping cost and effort (if both sales aren't local) and the odds of coming out ahead diminishes.
