Looking for Manufacture date of this revolver

I just traded a Girsan 1911 for an old S&W revolver and I'm hoping to get more information on this gun. Here is the information;

Stamp behind the yoke is MOD-36

Serial Number is 245230

Some numbers on the back of the yoke

Welcome to the Forum,
The Standard Catalog's information is kinda lacking on these J frame serial#'s. Unless someone chimes in with a lettered revolver that has a close serial#, all I can offer is that it was shipped sometime between 1957-1962.

Any help, is good help, 824tsv I'll probably pay the $30 to get a history done by S&W. I've only had this gun for less than 24 hours and I already know I made a good trade. I love these old guns.

Agree on the production date range. Factory history letter requests are $50 but on hold until sometime next year, restart TBD:
