Snakes don't bother me but i'll smash every spider i see within
reach. It all started for me when i was still in High School and
i detassled Corn for Pioneer one summer.
Those big black and yellow corn spiders (that's what we called them),
were heavy in the corn fields.


When we lived in S. Carolina we had the Black Widow to watch
out for.

I leave most spiders alone even when vacuuming the house. They do important work. Large ones I carry outside. I never kill them. Flies, wasps and other insects get the Raid treatment, but not spiders.
