Anyone watching the new Lost in Space remake on NetFlix?
I got mixed emotions about it, of course they changed the beginning around a bit. It now has a female Dr. Smith? Won’t say no more!
Seems to be getting better as it goes? :p

Just watched the first episode last night. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to watching more.

I just started watching it last night. I usually watch something so I can fall asleep while my wife reads. I don't remember what happened after Judy got frozen in the ice. Guess I was out after that so I'll have to watch the first episode again. I haven't formed an opinion on it yet but have hopes that it will be at least interesting.

I was on the fence about it. I guess I will watch it! I enjoyed the original series as a child. I liked the musical theme for the original. I liked the movie with William Hurt in it too!

I guess if you’re turning a campy comedy into a drama, the antagonist needs to be more malevolent, but I wish they could have just left the “Dr. Smith” character out. I like the new robot, though:).

I saw a promo for this the other day. Looks interesting. I liked the original and the 1990's movie. Guess I'm going to have to give this one a whirl too. It would actually be good to find a series I enjoyed enough to tune in on a regular basis. I think E.R. was the last series I watched more than a few weeks.

Tried to watch episode 3 last night and fell asleep!
May take another look at it tonight. ;)

Have now seen Episode 3, it’s starting to really hold my attention.
As in the original Dr. Smith just isn’t any good! ;)

Just finished watching the season episodes. Had my doubt at the beginning but it is worth watching. ;)
Have to say I enjoyed it and even the wife watched some of it?
I’d have to give it 3 Thumbs up! :D

Hmmmm, interesting...

That sounds very interesting. I catch some of the old episodes on MeTV with my other vintage shows. Alfred Hitchcock, Twilight Zone, The Fugitive, Perry Mason and others. But I have Netflix and will try this one.

I'm so-so with it. Love the photography and most of the characters. Haven't seen the Mom since "Deadwood".

The Dr. Smith character is terrible but so was the original and one reason I stopped watching the original; prob will be the reason I stop watching this one as well.

I don't like the anti-gun sentiment for sure. All that technology and they can't tell who used the printer?

Harry Bosch Season 4 was on Amazon so that got me through the weekend.

"Unforgotten" on PBS is brilliant.

I don't do remakes, but if ever there were a series to forget and not remake it would be Lost in Space. All the original had was Will Robinson and the robot. I pass. What's next a remake of the Munsters, or Petticoat Junction with all guys? There is no limit to science fiction plots. Is there so little creativity left in Hollywood that we have to do Lost in Space again?

I watched it, overall it was good, they changed it up a bit but not so much to ruin the overall premise. If you like the original or are into sci-fi it's worth a look.
