Lots of ammo on the shelves this morning

A local shooting range (Point Blank) has plenty of 9mm for $37.00 per 50. Still crazy high, but down about 10 bucks from last time I looked. More ammo in stock also....

Drove over to Columbus for some range time at Shoot Point Blank with some buddies and while there bought 5 (20rd) boxes of Sellier & Bellot 6.5 Creedmoor at $21.99 per box, that was all they had and we were the first ones through the door when they opened, thought that was a decent score. The day before we were at Cabela's and I picked up some 20 gauge ammo and 2 (10rd) boxes of CCI 38spl/357 magnum shotshells. Hadn't seen those in ages.

In the past I have bought Hornady v-max 22wmr at really good prices from Fin Feather and Fur. A couple weeks ago I noticed they had it again and bought my limit of 5 boxes. In the past I think I was paying around $14 a box but paid around $19 this time which I felt was ok considering the time we're in.

I checked again this week and the price was higher but they had it plus they have a very good supply of 9mm. I only looked at their selection briefly but Winchester and Remington 115gr 50 round boxes were 24.99 to 29.99. They had 100 round and 200/250 round boxes and NATO 9 in stock. There's a limit of 5 boxes but don't know if that's each different ammo or total order.

I also bought, at retail but still OK pricing, 3600 rounds of CCI and Federal 22LR direct from CCI and federal. I could have bought another 1600 rounds of federal but have plenty now.

I saw 2 pallets of 9mm Blazer at my LGS a few weeks ago. 0.50/rd or $25/box.

I said to myself, that's not something I need today, but somebody will be happy to score a few boxes.

I was looking for bullets. None to be found.

My local Bass Pro was the same last week. Loads of 9mm, 223, 45, and shot shells. A few boxes of 380, 450 Bushmaster, 308, 22 and some oddball calibers.

Iam seeing more too at mom and pop stores as well as SW and BP, but the prices are still silly so it's sitting there.

I am seeing more ammo on the shelves, unfortunately it's nothing I need, especially 7x64 Brenneke. For the past 2-3 months every Sportsman's Warehouse between Washington and Nevada has a fat supply of 7x64. Saw this Cache yesterday at the Henderson SW.

Hahahaha! Same in Colorado!

I have been shooting for a lot of years.I did not realize that they were so many weird calibers.

Yesterday Academy had more 5.56 than usual, some other rifle calibers, and two milk cartons of .22 - 200 count at $32. Nope.

Like manna from heaven

Last week was good. I found primers, power and bullets locally. Each one was at a different store, but now have all the components now for several calibers.
