M-26 front sight

So I'm working with a NOS M-26 barrel I'm shortening to put on a 27 to change calibers.I can see where the front ramp pins are but can't get them to move. Any suggestions to get the pins out? I don't need to worry about marring the finish on the barrel. Thanks, Mark

If the barrel isn't held absolutely solid, you won't get them to move. If it can't move at all, then the pins will move.
