I have been shooting the m and p 15-22 for a while, and I was wandering what distances your shooting at? My longest shot was a 100 yards in a 1 inch circle.

haha, no I usually hunt wistle pigs and they move pretty quick. my avg distance is around 60 yards when resting. They scatter when you walk through the desert, so it's pretty common to hit them within 10 yards while moving.

I have no magnification on my red dot, so for target shooting at 100 yards, my groups were appalling for the first 50 rounds. but after a brick, I was within a 3" group. I can't boast 2 consistantly. I did just get new contacts though, we'll see how much better I can do.

Do you have optics yet?

Only 50 yards =/
This local place that has a 100yd range over charges, I can't get myself to go.

if i could get 2 to 3 inches at 100 with reliable ammo i would be happy i put up half silouettes of humans at my range. get some strange looks once in awhile. and shoot alternating clips with head shots and mass shots. lotsa fun blasting away.. a little politically incorrect. but these guns do match with a military rifle. no agenda here but is sure fun. never understood paper shooting with a militay style weapon. thats for my bolt gun 22s

I have I high power scope on mine. I live in south west Missouri in the country, so I could shoot distances out to 500 yds.

No I meant that's how far I can shoot if I choose too, that's more of a deer rifle range.
