Does anyone know where I might be able to find a new M&p 1.0 9mm with safety? I know they probably don't make them anymore but I would like to grab another.

I'll add that the 2.0 trigger is far superior to the 1.0 in clean, crisp, and audible feel. If you do not like the gritty 2.0 grip then talon rubber grips is one solution while another would be lightly taking fine sand paper to it.

If you are looking for a compact size pistol, the 1.0 and 2.0 are vastly different.

1.0 compact = subcompact (standard mag drops your pinky)
2.0 compact = compact (think Glock 19 size)

Smith and Wesson then decided to come out with a 2.0 subcompact which mirrors the 1.0 compact. [emoji1745]

Just food for thought. Good luck on your find.

If you mean a 1.0 fullsize or compact, you can get a 1.0 without safety and just buy the parts and put them in. You only need to remove the sear housing and then pop out the plugs.

1.0 backstraps work on 2.0 models. A little sandaper can take care of the rest of the grip.

I put a 2.0 trigger in both my fullsize and compact 1.0s. Others would likely go Apex.

If you do buy a 1.0 W/O safety, be sure that it has the plugs to remove to add a safety, not all M&P's had that option. If it has the plugs on both sides, you are OK.

Good point! Earlier models including the Performance Centers had internal locks so not only will they not have the plugs, but the sear housing won't accommodate the safety. Note the round plug where the key would go, and absence of the squarish plugs.

While this one has no safety, note the squarish blocks. You take the sear housing out, pop out the blocks and install the safety parts into the sear housing. Easy to revert if you change your mind.
