I just shot my new M&P 10 for the first time..
First impressions, great fit and finish, didn't like the stock so I took a Magpul ACS off one of my AR's.
I also took a NF Compact 2.5-10 in a 20 MOA NF Unimount off of an AR and mounted it on my M&P 10.
I took a mix of ammo including 168 fed gold medal match, 168 TAP, 150 power point and some 147 fmj.
I used the 150 power point to get on paper at 50 yards, 100 % reliable.
Once on paper I took it back to 100 yards.
I was pleasantly surprised at the results.
168 TAP did very well, just under .5 MOA! I have read that this rifle loves the 168 AMAX bullet... It does!
168 Fed gold medal match shot just over .5 to .75 MOA...still very good accuracy in a gas gun.
Recoil though more than a .223 is less than I expected.
Rifle was 100 % reliable with all rounds! even the 147 fmj.
My only complaint about this rifle is the ambi safety, it digs into my trigger finger when firing..I will switch it out.
I am very pleased with this rifle, Smith & Wesson has made a winner!
