I was at my local walmart today and they had 50% off on the
MP 15-22 SKU 811030,the standard version
so had to get one at that price.
they apparently have several according to the salesman

I'm not sure if they're caving to the PC world, or just the almighty dollar. Prices on AR stuff has dropped so much they may just be dumping it and stocking other stuff.

I spoke to one of the employees at my local Walmart. From what he said all of the Walmart will no longer be carrying ANY Ar-15 or home defense shotguns.

Up here in Canada. Ive heard that they might not even carry ammo anymore.

I was first told at one point they would continue to carry those and later was told they would no longer be selling ar's

That would be like £160 in UK. Or there abouts. Instead of the currant £700- £750 for a new one.

Might be a pain to get ammo in US but you sure can get the rifles easy enough. Makes you wonder, why worry about a broken part and replacements. Just buy a new one and cannibalise it for spare.

They have also clearanced and gotten rid of all red dot sights because they are inherently evil too.

Getting rid of all their "tactical" stuff in the name of pc is a win-win for them because the profit on a $5 table selling for $100 is obviously much more attractive.

Thanks for the tip! When I read this thread this morning I decided to drive into town and check our local Walmart - ended up leaving with the last 15-22 they had, same awesome deal! Guy told me it was actually the last AR they had, of any type, but went on to tell me about A LOT of other great deals he had sold in last couple of days. So if anyone out there has not been to Walmart lately, well it just might be worth the trip!
