I paid $490 for mine(threaded barrel) 2 weeks ago from somewhere other than walmart. Love this gun so I have no regrets... Problem was getting it out of my wife's hands so I could shoot it. After reading your post we went and bought one for her. Hard not to at $250!!

BTW Walmart here in Maine said they had 15-20 more in the back...

Me too, JWG2011. I'm in Long Island, N.Y. and will check tomorrow morning at the only Walmart that sells rifles here. Maybe I'll get lucky. Not to step on the thread but I did pickup a great deal on Gunbroker.com tonight. Bought "ANIB" M&P 9mm and Range kit for $375.00 + 30 shipping + 30 at my local FFL for a total of $435.00. Retails out here "NIB" for over $600.00!!! Great or What??

Once the story came out that confirmed that WM was going to stop selling AR's, I went to our local WM. All AR's gone, and and all black rifle accessories off the shelf. Not even in clearance aisle. Gone.

My first post here. I am about to go to Cabellas and spend $500 and saw this awesome deal.

Anyone know of stores in Dallas or surrounding areas that might have some of these left.

I hope I can get lucky.
