Just a quick question, what color(s) are you thinking about for production? Black, FDE, or OD Green would be nice. :-)

I will take 1 if $30 or less.....When will you be taking orders?

Mike

Colors ,, first round will probably be white or black, then after that i think OD green, or black,, i might entertain pink?

as far as taking orders ,, i hope to start pumping them out within the first of the year,, i will post when there ready so you will know

the first round have to be tested like major said, i need to know how they work in the field, if there are any failures, and of what kind of failures "IE cracks, temperature failures, etc.
I'm dying to get these rolling also!,, its currently set to be made out of an ABS plastic with a friction modifier for strength, so time will tell!

Wait, 50 rd double stack mags.... I thought we were talking about the mag loader? Put me on the list for those 50 rd'ers for $30 tho! I'll take 5

I was in the wrong thread, mentally. Old age reigns!!! :)

I deleted that posting when I discovered my mistake. Not soon enough, I see. :)

I was looking for an excuse, that's perfect. Here where I work the sun went down a couple weeks ago and won't come back til late Jan sometime

I hope all goes well with the testing. If so and the price is reasonable then I'm in and will bring a few friends along with me when they go on sale. R&D guys rock!! Keep up the good work.

I have never heard a BWM being called a "bimmer" before.

I also wouldn't go to a BWM car forum and argue with the established norms.

Something "clip" people seem to love to do. A Clip is a bent piece of metal that statically holds the ammunition. A Magazine is a dynamic system that feeds bullets into a firearm. Calling one the other is even more incorrect than Bimmer/Beamers. It is honestly like calling a semi automatic pistol a revolver. Or the case of your PC the CPU.

"close enough" isn't good enough when you are talking about specific components to a complex system.

There will be regional differences. It is a South African thing to call the "projectile" part of a bullet a "head" or a "bullet head", but internationally a clip is a clip and a magazine is a magazine. Invariably clips get loaded into magazines. Either wholesale like an M1 Garand's end block clip or as a magazine feeding device for an internal magazine like the K-98 or the C-96 pistol. They can also be used to recharge removeable magazines like in the SKS and SMLE.

A clip is not a magazine in the same way diesel and gasoline are not the same thing, even though both are "fuel".

Getting your problem solved IS important, but describing it correctly is also important. If you use the incorrect term you will not receive the help you want. Go ask for help with your .303 Lee Enfiend SMLE when the clip doesn't work, when you actually mean the magazine.

He was totally correct about the BMW issue by the way. Beemer is a BMW motorcycle and Bimmer is A BMW car.
When I raced for Kawasaki in the 70's I raced against factory Beemers (R90s mostly) and in the 90's when I raced for Ford I raced against Bimmers (mostly M3s and M Coupes). For instance the hot BMW news posting for their cars is called Bimmerpost for a reason. I have owned a couple of Bimmers myself over the years.
As for the clip vs magazine issue even some manufacturers use the terms interchangeably sometimes. I tend to stay out of this type of discussion.

True, I looked it up because I'd never heard it.

Like I said though, I won't go to a Bimmer forum and start raging against the machine just because I've never heard a certain phrase.

Again, something Clip people love to do.

Heck until a few years ago I was a stringent "Suppressor" not "silencer" person, until I found out the guy who invented the darn things called them silencers.
