I've had a email, mine is in the post and should be with me within 2 days. Anyone in the UK still waiting, Sportsman Gun Centre are dealing with this in the UK. I was dealing with Smith and Wesson's European headquarters via email but the gauge is coming from Sportsman. Drop Sportsman an email or give them a ring. My last email to Smith got the issue sorted. They thought Sportsman had already sent them out, but I think Sportsman have been getting people to send the rifle back so they can charge Smith for checking them. I know someone who has already sent his to Sportsman but I held on to mine for the gauge to get here.
....The advisor I was direct mailing couldn't or wouldn't even give me the depth so I could at least use feeler gauge....
Afternoon Guys
Bearing in mind it's now 5pm on a Sunday here in the UK, I've just had an email from the S&W International Sales Manager Europe, advising me that he will be sending me a checking gauge immediately
If that isn't service, I don't know what is
What a shame the UK Importers/agents lack the same level of integrity & Customer care.

Info for UK owners I have just received a tracking number for the gauge from sportsman gun centre. EXETER
48 Hour royal mail delivery. Had sent them an email asking for a gauge but had no reply until the above email came through 17:41 tonight 29/4 so fingers crossed.
I ordered my gauge back when I first heard about the recall but, I still haven't received it. This is very unusual for S&W.
Normally when I order a part, even if they're sending it to me free of charge...........I usually receive it within a week or two.

Thanks for the heads up. I've got countless rounds thru my 15-22, since I purchased new 8+ years ago, but better safer than sorry. Just got back from taking it out to the range today as a matter of fact.

Sure, PM your address and share it with the other guys over there.
I ordered mine March 26th. Still no gauge. Shame on you S&W. This is unacceptable. The last call I made to S&W I was told they were on back order.
Ok, well I originally started this thread and have had my order in before I posted it. I have also called... still no gauge... Can I say shame on S&W?Why shame on them? If they are back ordered they are back ordered. Demand was overwhelming and you were late for the initial rush. Just sayin'.
Just measure it with a caliper or feeler gauge if you can't wait. The safe measurement has been posted several times earlier in this thread.

Ordered mine 3-16. Still nothing. Hmm
Ordered another one under a different serial number on 3-30-19. That arrived today. My rifle checked out good to go.
Has anyone had a bolt that FAILED the gauge test?
Great to hear at least 1 gauge made it to UK.
I never got mine, nor did anyone else I know.
I'm at around 10k through mine with no mishaps but there are another 8 guys at my club who are waiting to check their bolt.
i'm suspecting mine might be failing once the gauge arrives. because the breach face looks kinda shallow to me, compared to my pistol and by the looks of that gauge as well, although i can't tell how thick it is in that picture they put on document.. plus it's in the danger manufacturing date area.
that said.. i have dropped the bolt a whole lot ontop of rounds, no discharges yet. i'll still replace if it fails though, obviously
