Anyone tried this ammo? Does it cycle OK in the M&P22?

Thanks

Based on the velocity stated on the box, it should be fine. I would not have any issues shooting that out of my Sig 22 LR handgun or my M&P 15-22.

CCI SV has worked quite well both in my new Buckmark as well as in my 60 yr old Colt. Those I have talked to as I learned on my 22 had similar luck with SV (frankly with about any CCI ammo). Id make the assumption that while 22 can be finicky, this ammo is a pretty safe bet for near all that use it.

buy a bulk? lucky you. I have used this many times. Very reliable, no issues. Anything CCI is good ammo. Most forum members will tell you that there are very few issues with any ammo in the M&P22. The only one I would stay away from is Rem. Thunderbolt. The barrel leads up badly. Buy as much as you can. then buy some more. have fun.

Standard velocity CCI cycles the M&P 22 just fine. It's pretty accurate stuff too. It was a little pricier than mini mags when I got some though, so I'd probably not buy it again over mini mags unless I was bullseye shooting.

CCI works great in mine. Especially with the slide-fire stock rattling off rounds.

The CCI SV should be cheaper than mini mags, but I have seen it creeping up in price while there are not any mini mags on the shelf, so real-time comparison is difficult.

Well, maybe I got hosed, but Gander Mountain had 50 packs of SV for $4.99 and 100 packs of mini mags for $7.99.. But I didn't really shop around for a better price. I hadn't seen SV locally before that, so I picked up a couple boxes.

I don't think you got hosed...that's either 10 cents per round or 8 cents per round depending on pack quantity. Not bad, and certainly better than "not available", which is the situation that some of us have, at least shopping at local stores.

I've seen higher price at LGS. Some times it is pay or stay home and no shoot. From what I've seen, it seems that prices have crept up and will stay there.
From my experience, it's great ammo and runs well through my M&P22 and Rugar SR22.
