As I have said in a few other posts, I am pretty sure I was the second person on this forum to have one... someone else had one before because there was a single review a poster referenced when I posted I had bought mine in August- this gun is awesome, really awesome.
I am not exactly sure what everyone else looks for in a gun but for me, this floats the boat. I think the biggest knock on it was , and this is a lol for me, it wasn't striker fired with no safety, so it was identical in basically all aspects to a regular M&P for practice in competition shooters. To me this a moot point; I do not compete nor care about striker vs. hammer... and the safety is a plus feature for me, not a minus.
The gun eats ammo like chicken chow mein and has improved with use, meaning it'll break-in for reliability and precision, not break-out after some use. It shoots more accurately than I can and for those who like this, you can adjust the rear sight (I tend to leave my sights alone) via the click-adjustable screw [in addition to drifting the front].
I initially bought a Nebo PROTEC Elite HP190 weapon light for mine- however, I believe the light is a micron too big and/or the M&P22C's pic rail a micron too short, as I could not get true purchase on the rail. This resorted on the light falling off 2-3 times during shooting, so I returned it. Now I do not consider this a fault at all of the light, as it didn't break or stop working or the switch fail etc. I put a LaserMax Genesis on it now, looks great, I think will make a great addition. I just didn't shoot it yet as I lost the dang adjustment allen wrench and nothing I had would fit, so I had to order another from LaserMax.. then I'll get back to putting rds. down range and see if I can't get a green laser to give me that loving feeling.
All in all, this is an awesome gun. This is just 5 mins of rambling typing, there are tons of stuff you could say praising this fine firearm, especially when you consider it's low price.
