There may be some more M&P 22's headed our way. Late yesterday, my salesman from Sports South called to advise that he had a #222000 M&P 22 for me. Naturally, I told him to send it. I should have it Friday. I've been waiting for this one since they were announced. Bob!

My LGS just got one in and I was impressed by the quality of the pistol. Walther did a nice job on the M&P22, you'll be impressed when you get yours.

I know I'm impressed with mine. Just picked it up Sat from my FFL. Spent about an hour cleaning it thoroughly and comparing to the M&P9, its very similar in size and feel. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet though as family obligations took priority this weekend. With the threaded barrel, there just might be a suppressor in its future...;)

Well I got a chance to shoot mine this weekend. I had WW-555's, R-P HS Golden bullets(bulk pack) and some Federal Champion standard velocity. The M&P 22 fits perfectly in my UM's kydex holster I use for my centerfire M&P's(after I loosened the adjustment screws just slightly). My pistol shipped with one 12 rd. magazine. The magazine is well made with a loading button on the side and was easy to load. I shot a bunch of WW-555's through it. I had 3 failure to feed caused by the ammo(not enough energy to fully cycle the slide). There was never the slightest hint of the rounds not feeding into the chamber. I adjusted the rear sight down with just a screwdriver bit. Now it shoots where I aim it. The Golden bullets(hp's) functioned and shot flawlessly and accuracy was excellent. The Federal's would not cycle the action and I shot them up in my M43C. The gun worked as advertised and was fun to shoot. Now I need 4 more magazines so that I can train properly. Since my centerfire M&P's don't have safeties, I didn't use the one on the .22, but it's there if one wants to use it. I'm a HAPPY CAMPER!!! Bob

BTW, the envelope with the fired cartridge case in it was dated the middle of July. Apparently, it takes 5 months to get from Germany to a distributor. I suspect customs hold them as long a possible just because they can. I received my M43C a week after it was boxed. Bob!!

I took mine to the range today and run about 350 rounds and it worked 100%. Not a single problem and the last 100 rounds we suppressed.

This gun is worth every dollar and then some. I'm just waiting on my extra mags to come in.

puddin,

Who or what is "LGS" ? = Local Gun show? (Sorry it's been a while since I have logged on).

These M&P22 are sweet, want one but the mag situation is holding me back.

LGS usually refers to Local Gun Shop.
