M&P 40 compact - do they still exist?

you can pay for your sw 40 with a c/c and talk to your ffl guy and he can juat fax his ffl and that gun will be shipped right away .and you pay no tax because its bought in another state and transfer only .My ffl gets 25.00 for this plus 5 for the check.

Everything worked out because I just picked up my brand new .40 compact with night sights from my FFL on this past Monday afternoon. :D

Hope you like it like my wife has.
Remember to keep the firing pin chamber clean and free from oil.
The m&p firing pin assembly removes in 15 seconds . We had grease and dirt jammed at the front base of the firing pin which caused some lite strikes, this should be cleaned out on a new gun. There is a video on this forum that shows you how to do this. This is one of the advantages of the m&p .
Good luck on your new baby

Jerry - Thanks for the info! I'll have to do a search for that vid and check it out. :D

I've already field stripped it and done some dry firing on the 40c and love it so far. Now I just have to find some darn time to get to the range. It's definitely a beautiful piece of machinery!

I want a M&P40c myself.why I even got 2 factory mags for one already yesterday. they were a bargin at $20 each.one has the finger extension.I also got with them a M&P9c factory mag for $18 for my frind who has one.now I need the gun

"My understanding is you have to set up the deal with a local FFL dealer that charges you a transfer fee, plus the background check fee and then a Brady law fee. Plus shipping in most cases. After all of those charges, that might end up being more than me just purchasing it locally and paying sales tax."

My local FFL charges $30 period.

So I pay the gun price , + shipping
( maybe $25 - Buds ships most guns free ) + $30 transfer - NO SALES TAX

If you order a gun from your FFL you will pay his price plus sales tax.
