M&P 40c

Hi, My little S&W M&P 40c is a fantastic little pistol with only one shortfall from my perspective. I would love it even more if it had a thumb safety like it's big brother the 45. I was wondering if S&W or anyone else has a thumb safety for the M&P 40c that can be purchased as an aftermarket product?
Any info would be appreciated.

As far as I know, there is no aftermarket thumb safety for the either the M&P 40 or 9.

I was afraid of that. I had done some research and didn't have any luck, but thought I would give the forum a try.

I couldn't agree more. I don't know of anything along those lines, but gather someone has developed something like this for Glocks, so maybe someday something will show up.

It would sure be great if S&W could help us out with this as I would be hesitant to install aftermarket bits and pieces.
