You'll have to find out what model number you want from the S&W site, then google and call around local to find your best price.
Cabela's has been having them on sale off and on if there is one in your area.

I think I read here that Bud's Guns is pretty decent too...but I never personally dealt with them.

Possible source for 9mm M&P compact at low price
Try jetguns.com -- even if they don't have it on their website, they may have it in stock, as was the case when I phoned in on on a S&W Bodyguard 380 a few months back. I paid $309 new w/ free shipping, when almost everyone was still closer to $400. It arrived the 2nd day.
Their full size S&W M&P 9mm is $439 and the full size 1911, 45ACP, w/ beaver tail, checkered walnut grips, etc, is $854. Their S&W M&P-15 Optics Ready 5.56 Nato, is $819--it WAS on sale for $699 (egads) a while back. A pretty well dressed out Armalite, in 223, still comes in under $900. These guys make it a point to beat Buds on price everytime, they ship quick and accept credit cards w/o any markup.

make sure you check Bud's prices online....they generally price to include shipping as well....

If you are within driving distance and has a license for concealed weapons, try Quantico Tactical. So far, no one I have seen can beat their price, except for some pawn shops.
