M&P deal

Do you have a specific web site link to that specific model?

Specifics?

I have looked and it's coming up zilch on line. Is that the place in Largo, Florida--or do you mean your 'Local Gun Store'? Any which way, I don't see any actual guns for sale listed on line under web sites with 'LGS' on their title. If it is the place in Largo and if you have to drive there, I wonder if that price is available, if it's only for L.E. and Military?

The Jetguns.com sale is over--they're back up to $525 there, which is probably still cheaper than buds, which rarely has them is stock, as is the case now.

Heck, I was was balking on getting one at $473 new, but if I could get one at $399 w/ no tax or shipping, that might just be cheap enough to pull me over the line. But something tells me 'it's too good to be true', although I hope I'm wrong! Linkee, linkee please!

Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm, with a 5" threaded barrel and night sights from an:

"LGS on the east coast of Florida selling them for $399 with two high cap mags?"

I asked Mountain Walker to provide a link--I would love to see this price and more personally, see what they sell an M&P 40c for--I imagine w/o the threaded barrel and night sites, it would be an even more unbelievable deal.

If anyone does see an M&P 40c, with or without night sights at a good price, I'd appreciate a 'heads up', it as I'd like to pick one up.

While I THOUGHT my brother got his M&P 40 for the same $398 I paid, I found out when he got his he took advantage of the $50 rebate so he only paid $348 total.

I'd like to start a thread to see who has paid the least for a NIB M&P so we can get an idea what prices we should be searching for.....

Well, I paid $490 for my 5" MP pro 9mm...NIB...with my membership to the local range. They had it listed at $560.

Well, the local gun range i joined sells them through Davidsons.....MP compact 40 is selling for $494.14.

I think I posted before that Jetguns.com has the M&P 40c for $439, their regular everyday price. Seems like that's the best deal I can find lately.

They have the same gun, but with Crimson Trace laser grips for $661. With both guns, that's tax free, free shipping and no added 3%, for using a credit card, as is the case with Buds--IF Buds has them in stock and then they're more expensive to start with.

I have done business with Buds and they're nice, they stand behind their products, and are just usually $10 to $40 more, give or take and the worst thing I can say is sometimes I have had to wait close to an hour on the phone, waiting for a sales person.

You might be able to find the CTL online for a good price and with the $50 rebate, install it yourself and save a few bucks.

I appreciate the reply, Jgreiner--I guess my 'sweet spot' price wise on the 40c, NIB with two magazines, is $399. I already have my eye on the 40c and the Lone Wolf match grade barrel, to enable me to switch to and from shooting 40 or 9mm reliably & safely--the extra barrel is about another $100.

For C&C, which this gun is great for, I think that Tritium and/or fiber optic night sights are a great idea--I'll call tomorrow and see if Jet also has 40c's in stock with night sights already installed...Guess I need to keep my paper route and bicycle in working order a while longer, lol....
 
One question about Jet guns: When I went through the process of ordering a gun, I wasn't asked for any FFL info like most other sites ask for, just an address for the gun to be shipped to.

I stopped short at the confirmation page, do they asked for the FFL info later??

I usually have a couple questions about the gun, double checking that it's in stock, etc so I phone my order in and give them my smithy/FLL licencees fax/address. I seriously doubt that w/o docs that they'd ship to a home. Give them a call. Might even make things a little quicker. I don't want to sound like a shill for this company, I just think most guys here want a great price, service and a company with integrity. Call them, let us know how it goes, so maybe I can shut up! (if that's humanly possible)

And the price is a FIRST RESPONDER price, so you have to be a fireman, cop, military, former military, pilot, something like that. Or someone you know could buy it at that deal and then you could buy it from them.
 
Great price, but is for law enforcement employees only and shipping and handling costs, or any extra charges for credit card use are not clear here.

Best I see for these guns right now is still $439 TOTAL--no tx or S&H,as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Sometimes they also run sales, reducing them even more, but who knows, maybe they could go up in price as well.

I may just grab a 40c at that price yet, calling first and seeing if they'll throw in an extra magazine, or add some Truglo TFO sights, bought & installed at whole sale price, or at least toss in some extra ammo. Never hurts to ask.....

Next to letting sweet Emmy Lou get away from me back in high school and that Belguim minx Monique in college, my biggest regret on not being decisive, --was my not buying the well equipped NATO spec S&W, M&P15 that they had on sale for a sizzling $699 a month or so back.
I would've really been ready for zombies with that M&P 15!!!
