But if you have a Storm Lake Conversion Barrel for your .40 on your wish list to go along with your new mags ;)

Mags have been going in and out of stock at Midway all day. I got lucky and was able to snag a 17-round 9mm mag at 3:55pm PDT today.

This is speculation on my part, but i'm guessing that Midway is rationing mags by only releasing a limited number for a short duration with a break between releases. It may be there way of preventing hoarding by mag scalpers.

Keep checking back at Midway and you might get lucky. Just don't shop for other stuff with mags sitting in your cart or you might lose out.

In/out of stock

I've tried all day to get two, finally did about 6:30 EDT. Once I had them in my cart but took too long to check out and lost them. They seem to be releasing a few at a time. Keep logged in and refresh the page every few minutes. That's how I did it.

I got the in stock notice to my phone just now while I was on the toilet before getting in the shower and I ran out the bathroom (after finishing up quickly) to get my wallet and place my order for 2 mags and a 9mm factory barrel. $4.99 shipping for everything came out to $139 total for the order. Not bad.

Took me 8 months and signing up for the notifications 3 times but my order is in for two.

Have a full size .40 with a factory 9 mm barrel. This will complete my conversion! :)

It is very interesting that Midway is only releasing a few at a time. I wonder whether that is to prevent a mad rush that would flood their system.

Oh yes, I got two.

Back in stock again. Kinda fun now. I wonder how many they received? They are in and out of stock about every hour and a half.

This happened a couple times with the M&P 22 and M&P 15-22 mags as S&W was starting to catch up. Hopefully a good sign!

This just goes to show that there is no sense in going out spending $70+ on a mag when all u have to do is have a little patience. Eventually all the places will have them back in stock.

Pmags is a prime example oh what happens when u have a little patience.

Now if only those 15-22 shorty 10rd mags would come back in stock for a descent price.
