m&p first time cleaning

hey guys just got my m&p 10 and was reading the manual on first time cleaning. I will be cleaning the rifle from front to back do I need to field strip the bolt carrier or can I just wipe it down and re oil it cant see where it mentions that in the manual but I could be wrong thanks.

I took mine apart cleaned and lubed. Had no issues at all. Fed every different ammo I put through it

It likes a little more lube than your typical AR

Field strip the bolt carrier. You will need to familiarize yourself with it sooner or later. Might just as well be certain that there's no debris in it right now and it's properly lubed.
