M&P mags in Columbus, OH

Just a FYI for fellow Buckeyes:

Just returned from Aim Hi Shooting Range in New Albany. They were pretty flush with s&w mags when I was there. I didn't exactly do an inventory but I definitely saw some various shield mags and at least a couple m&p 22 12 rounders. There were many others but like I said, I didn't write it down. Prices weren't great but that's kinda normal now. Anyway if you're local and in need, wouldn't hurt to give them a call to see what they got.

I kept seeing Shield magazines at Cabelas every time I went, too bad I have a 9c. If I would have thought about it I could have picked up a couple Shield magazines and sell or trade them here.

Really? I've been there 3 or 4 times and have not seen a single smith mag at all. They are always cleaned out of all pistol ammo when I go too, I'm done bothering unless I'm looking to purchase an actual gun. Even then there is usually more selection and better prices at Vance's. if you're willing to venture to that part of town lol.

Yea, the 9mm ammo sold out a couple weeks after they opened, I managed to get two boxes of Blazer Brass.
Couple weeks ago they consolidated the pistol and rifle ammo on to the same shelf.
I was checking for magazines every week and kept seeing those couple Shield magazines and a few other brand but I needed for a 9c. I'm check the Shield magazine every time hoping it would turn into one.

Haha good luck with that. I keep checking my Epiphone guitar to see if it turns into a Gibson Les Paul, but no such luck there either!

But all joking aside, you should give new Albany a call if you're in need to see what they have. Like I said, they had a lot of smith mags, who knows you might get lucky.

I managed to grab a couple from Midway when they got some in stock for an hour or two. So I have 4 now. Want to start watching for the 17 round full size and xgrip.

I saw a 17rd M&P mag in a LSG for $40.00, so maybe the supply is catching up with demand.

There weren't any 9mm mags today, compact of full size. I stop in there a couple times a week so I'll check. I have some Berry's Preferred Plated bullets on order so they should arrive there next week (ship to store so no shipping $)

OT, anyone have a bodyguard? How does it compare to the 9C? Wife thought the 9c kicked too hard, maybe a Bodyguard would be a good option for her.
