M&P Newbie from WI

Hello,

I keep getting this nag message that being a new member, I should introduce myself. So here it goes...

My name is Mike and I'm in WI. Just received my CCW permit 11/7 and bought my first pistol. Its an M&P 9mm. I have no intention at this point of actually carrying, I'm interested more in target shooting. Haven't even fired a shot from my pistol yet as I really want to get proper training before doing anything.

My 20 y.o. son is interested in shooting also, so I have a 2hr "beginner's handgun" private training session scheduled this Friday for the two of us. Looking forward to enjoying some time with my son on a common interest.

In the interim, I've been reading just about everything M&P on this site and learned a ton already.
