I don't want this to turn into a debate on other firearm manufacturers. What is the availability of replacement parts and aftermarket parts for the M&P line of handguns? I did a google search and and did not see any posts that were very recent.

How about the factory? They have lifetime warranty for original purchaser. Springfield guns and some others follow the serial number rather than the original owner. I mention it because some folks overlook that option.

What do you need? There are a lot of use here. Maybe we have one?

p.s.
I was stationed at England AFB back in the late 80s. I really liked that area except for the bugs.;)

I'm looking for the updated/newer slide stop lever for a full-size M&P, this one:

M&P Slide Stop Assembly, Ambi [1390] - $12.90 : Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties

I picked up a used M&P 45 a couple weeks ago and it has the older soft-reset trigger, which can be fixed with a new slide stop lever.

G&R Tactical has them, but they have a $50 minimum order requirement and they're out of every single other thing I would be interested in.

I've offered this before, but no one has taken me up on it. I'll order 4, which will fill the minimum requirement, if you'll buy 2 of them from me.

What say you?

Dang it all!!!!! I just tried to order them and apparently G&R is out of stock. If I tried to even put just one in my cart I got a message, "There wasn't enough in stock to put in cart."

I will try again tomorrow.

Order from the browells link I posted. It's on back order. But sometime when I order back order it becomes faster than your think.

Thanks for all the replies. A M&P 45 will be my next purchase.
Rastoff, England AFB is now closed. It was given to the city of Alexandria and is now an Industrial Park. Sadly, the bugs are still here.

Yeah, it closed not long after I left.

It was the mosquitoes in January that really drove me crazy. Not to mention the love bugs splattering the car, the horse flies, the red ants...

Parts availability has been sketchy. It really depends on the part. The popularity of the M&P line has S&W running full tilt boogie just to keep up.

This has been the best source for me: Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties

Likewise, you should probably forget purchasing parts from the Smith and Wesson website; I tried to buy a single mag for a 40C and gave up after waiting over a year for it. Their CS was non-existent up until the 5th email I sent to them, at which point they simply said it wasn't available. No ****.

Hey Rastoff, they're in stock again. Still interested in splitting an order? I'm still in for 2.

I'd be interested in getting in on a split order. I've got two pistols that need the latest slide stop lever revision

Try calling G&R direct, I have tried to order parts from them before and when I called they were able to supply the parts I needed even then it showed out of stock.
