M&P PC Shield .45 2.0

LOVE my 45 Shields , I've owned many small 45's and for me the Shield is my favorite by far, it's surprisingly soft shooting and accurate. I have a standard and a PC both are the 3.1" version. I use either 185 gr Hornady or 230 gr HST. I can notice a difference with the ported gun when I use the 185gr Hornady. They feel pretty much the same with the 230gr HST.

I've found that a number of holsters fit both the 45 Shield & 9mm Shield Plus. I like strong side IWB carry . I've found the Tier 1 Echo to be the most comfortable IWB holster I've tried.

I like the Galco Lite Shoulder holster it works with both the 45 & 9mm Shields.

I wanted a 4" PC Shield .45 for a long time. I was hesitant because of a lack of holsters for it, and bought a standard Shield .45 3.3" I was perfectly content with that one until this thread popped up. I did find that more holsters seem to be available for the 4" model, so had a LGS order one for me. I picked it up last Monday and finally got to put a few rounds of 230 gr HST's thru it. I'm always amazed at how Smith & Wesson can make guns that small pleasant to shoot.

Both of the .45 Shields I have now need to have some more carry ammo put thru them, but I'm sure they will enter the carry rotation very soon.

Gun forums have proven to be the most expensive things on the internet for me.
